Welcome to your new obsession. You'll feel more confident after these first time jet ski tips. But before you ride off into the sun-soaked horizon, let’s make sure you’ve got the need-to-knows covered. Consider this your “cool friend meets watersport guide” checklist.
1. You don’t need to be an expert.
If you’ve never driven a jet ski or parked a pontoon, don’t panic. We walk you through everything—controls, safety rules, and best spots on the lake. We’ll get you confident before you even leave the dock.
2. ID is a must.
Bring a valid driver’s license (yes, even if your lake persona is more “chill captain” than “race day driver”). We’ll need it for the rental agreement.
3. Dress for the splash zone.
Jet ski riders: you will get wet. Like, possibly soaked. Bathing suits, quick-dry clothes, and something to throw on after are clutch.
Pontoon friends: think comfy, cute, and sun-smart.
4. Lifejackets are your new BFF.
No matter how good you think you look in your outfit, nothing beats safety. And we provide them—so all you need to do is zip up and live your best lake life.
5. Ask questions—we love ‘em.
Not sure where to go on the lake? Curious about docking or wind conditions? We’ve got answers, and we’d rather you ask than wing it. Safe fun is the best fun.
